What to know before you send an enquiry.
How we run a job, how we price it, how long it takes and how to prepare a file or photos. Kept short, so the first conversation can be about your part straight away.

You are not passed between departments. Maciej Szela runs the job: he talks to you, designs, orders production and keeps an eye on the deadline.

Enquiry
A file, a drawing, a photo with dimensions or a few sentences. We reply within one working day.

Review and advice
We ask where the part works and how many you need. We advise on the process, the material and model changes that bring the cost down.

A quote with options
Usually three options, for example a prototype, a run, and a run with a finish. You see what drives the price and choose for yourself.

Test version
Before a run or a metal part we print a plastic piece for a fit check. A mistake caught on a print costs little; on a finished run it costs a lot.

Production and delivery
We print in-house or at a partner, check the parts and ship them. The model stays on file, so repeat orders need no new measuring.
What you pay for, before you see a price.
Every quote is worked out for the specific part. The rules are simple and the same for everyone.
Design
We charge engineering time: measuring, modelling, drawings, revisions. For reverse engineering it depends on how complex the geometry is and how much there is to measure.
Powder printing (MJF, SLS)
The price follows the part's volume and how much height it takes up in the build chamber, not how complex the shape is. An intricate lattice does not cost more just because it is intricate.
A large part costs more than a small one. Small parts get cheaper in a run, because many of them fit into one build.
FDM printing
Print time and material used are what count. Good orientation and fewer supports help, so we sometimes suggest a small model change.
Finishes
Dyeing, vapour smoothing, painting and bead blasting are priced separately, so you can see what the look alone costs.
We do not publish a price list, because two similar-looking parts can have very different prices. That is why we price each one individually.
How long it takes.
Typical times for parts of simple to medium complexity. For complex mechanisms we set them after seeing the part.

How to prepare a file or photos.
You do not need perfect data. The more we know at the start, the sooner you get a price.
You have a file
- STEP is best if the part may be changed or made by different processes.
- STL or 3MF is enough for printing only: a watertight mesh, no holes, units in millimetres.
- Send an assembly as separate bodies, one per part.
- Add the material, quantity and any dimensions that must be exact.
You have no file
- Photos from several sides, in good light.
- A ruler or calipers in the shot, to show scale.
- Key dimensions: hole spacing, diameters, thicknesses, threads.
- Or send us the part itself and we will measure or scan it.
Your files stay with us.
- On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you send any files.
- Files go nowhere except the workshop that makes your part.
- We never publish a project or its photos without your consent.
Payment.
Payment terms are set out in the quote, together with the price and the lead time, before any work starts.
A partner network instead of one workshop.
We work with many print bureaus and workshops across Poland: powder printing, resin, CNC, machining, bonding and painting.
For you that means two things. First, we match the machine to the part, not the part to whatever machine we happen to own. Second, a job does not wait for one printer to free up: if one workshop is busy, it goes to another.
You always deal with us. We are responsible for quality and the deadline.
