Kite handles for Nobile Kiteboarding
2 Fusion 360 models, 4 PETG prototypes, iterative geometry refinement. CLIP mounting system. Production-ready STEP files delivered.
Problem
Nobile needed kite and wing handles for a new board line. Requirements: ergonomics, resistance to a salt environment, a precise CLIP mounting system, and compatibility with the existing board geometry.
Outcome
STEP files delivered, ready for CNC and injection-moulding production. The CLIP system was integrated with the existing board geometry. Prototypes refined over successive iterations.
- 01Fusion 360 modelling: two handle variants accounting for hand anatomy and grip angle.
- 02Four PETG prototypes printed on our own printer farm (Bambu X1C), iterating after each one.
- 03Consultation and feedback from Nobile. Iterative geometry adjustments after each round.
- 04Developing the CLIP mounting system. Exporting STEP files and technical documentation for production.
