Kite handles for Nobile Kiteboarding

2 Fusion 360 models, 4 PETG prototypes, iterative geometry refinement. CLIP mounting system. Production-ready STEP files delivered.

PETG-printed Nobile kite handles, production-ready geometryIE-001 · FIG.01 · PETG-printed Nobile kite handles, production-ready geometry

Problem

Nobile needed kite and wing handles for a new board line. Requirements: ergonomics, resistance to a salt environment, a precise CLIP mounting system, and compatibility with the existing board geometry.

Outcome

STEP files delivered, ready for CNC and injection-moulding production. The CLIP system was integrated with the existing board geometry. Prototypes refined over successive iterations.

  1. 01Fusion 360 modelling: two handle variants accounting for hand anatomy and grip angle.
  2. 02Four PETG prototypes printed on our own printer farm (Bambu X1C), iterating after each one.
  3. 03Consultation and feedback from Nobile. Iterative geometry adjustments after each round.
  4. 04Developing the CLIP mounting system. Exporting STEP files and technical documentation for production.
